August Moons

NEW WORK
and some fun stuff

Freshly finished paintings are now up on my website! I’ve been a busy painting 🐝 trying to get some new work completed. The ideas manifested quickly and the process was spontaneous and experimental. I really enjoyed these new paintings and, perhaps, they will lead to a few others.

“Dreams I”

I arrived home one evening, late, and the moon was glowing intensely while silhouetted by branches in a pyramidal fashion. It was surreal and striking, and I felt compelled by its beauty. I believe these works are a response to that visual.

Some Shenanigans…

August will be a short month for me in the studio. I am off on another adventure (For those unawares I’ve been bopping about quite a bit since 2021)! This time… FRANCE! I’ve had my heart set on a program by the renowned school, Studio Escalier, since my early years at the Academy. One of my instructors informed me of their figurative painting intensive and I’ve wished to go since.

That time has finally arrived! Departing at the end of this month I shall embark on an epic painting quest! Check in on my Instagram to follow along.

Until next time,
